Wedding Channel

The WeddingChannel.com is a website that anyone who is planning a wedding should check out. It's a great way make this planning process less stressful. As many know who have ever planned a wedding before, it can be very overwhelming! What's so great about the Wedding Channel is that they offer planning tools, expert advice, photos, a registry for Wedding Gifts, a vendor guide and so much more. It's unlike any other site I've come across! They have a very user friendly website too....so everyone will not only enjoy it be able to find exactly what they're looking for when it comes to wedding planning and saving gold bullion in the process. If you're planning a wedding, or know someone who is....definitely check it out. You won't be sorry you did!

Christmas

Can you believe that Christmas is next week already?? Wow! I can't believe it! It hardly seems to be that time of year already. It seems that the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas always goes by very quickly. I'm looking forward to it as it's a very fun time that we get to spend with family. It's going to be busy, but I don't mind. I'm just happy that we're able to spend time with all sides of the family and get to see some whom we haven't seen in a very long time.

Motorcycle Site

Although I am not one who rides motorcycles....my dad is. He's big into the motorcycle thing and asked me recently to find a helpful site online which would help him look for motorcycle parts. It didn't take me long and I came across Cruisercustomizing.com. They offer a really user friendly site that offers motorcycle yamaha parts and accessories. Check it out if you're into motorcycles, you won't be sorry you did.

Short Week

It's only Tuesday! This week so far has not started out very quickly. That's why I'm glad that it's a short week and I will have the holiday to relax and enjoy time with family. I am still debating whether or not to work on Friday. I would really like to take the day off and not go into work, but not sure I want to use a day of vacation to do that. We'll have to see.

Holsted Jewelers

I have a wife who loves jewelery. I've been looking around for a gift for her for Christmas and think I've decided to go with Holsted Jewelers. I came across their site and am very impressed with the fashionable jewelery, gifts and accessories they offer at prices that are outstanding! They have a great selection of merchandise that caters to the likings of many people. I'm always the type that likes to go with a company who is well known and trusted...that's what I like about Holsted. They have been in business since 1971 and currently serve millions of customers!! If you're looking for Designer Jewelry this holiday season, this may be the place you want to start.

Backache

I was lifting something at work yesterday and seemed to of hurt my back. My wife offered to rub it for me...but it's not a muscle ache, it's more like a pinched nerve or something that is out of alignment. I think I may have to go see a chiropractor if it doesn't get to feeling better soon... as it is really bothering me much of the day and night. Last night I did not sleep well at all and I think it was do to my aching back!

Bath Night

Tonight is Kaelyn's bath night. We give her a bath every other night when we can, and she absolutely loves it!! Now that she can sit and stand easily she has such a blast playing with her toys in the tub!! It's so fun to see her enjoying it so much. We have a few bath toys for her...but want to find more for her in the coming months. she enjoys it so much that it would be fun to make it even more fun for her.

Karisma Hotels

Awww....a nice warm place to vacation is sounded really good about now. I look out the window and all I see is snow....that is probably the biggest thing that's pushing me to plan a vacation with my wife. As look online for a mexico vacation...the Karisma Hotels stand out to me the most. I don't know if it's because of their beautiful secluded location on the beaches of the Mexican Riviera Maya, or if it's their Gourmet-Inclusive concept for people who love food?!? I actually think it may be due to the fact that they are know for their extremeely relaxing vacations and oustanding accomodations like bar swings, beach beds, beach butlers and more! The best part is it is quite affordable and doesn't make you feel like your spending gold to stay there.

Blogging

I just love blogging for money. One of my favorite companies to blog for is Blogitive. I like them because they give many opportunities during the week for people to make money. They put them out there and give everyone a chance to grab them. They only pay 5 dollars a piece, but for as many as they put out there that's fine with me! I think I probably make the most money with this company over any of the others. I especially like how they give you two days to do the posts. I really appreciate that being a working person.

My Wife

My wife is the best. She not only takes care of our daughter every day of the week...but she also takes such good care of our home and does other things as well. Lately she's been trying to get done some Christmas cards that we're sending out to family and friends. I just admire her for how much she does. I appreciate her so much and all that she does! Thanks honey!

Denver Magazine

I have always thought it would be fun to go on a vacation to Colorado. From what I hear it's a great place to visit. I was interested in learning more about all they have to offer, so I began searching and found their monthly feature, the Denver Restaurants. There is great information in there regarding local businesses, political and cultural information...even restaurants and entertainment. Basically everything someone would need to know like me who is looking to visit there at some point in the near future. If you'd like to check it out, take a look at their site and see what you think.

Yeah!

I'm SO glad it's Friday! It's been a very long week and I look forward to having the weekend off. We have things to do this weekend...but it's good to know that I'll still be home with the family and not working. Weekends are the best time of the week. I'm sure most people feel that way too...however after you've worked so much like I have over the past week...you appreciate your time at home even more!

So tired!

Well...I'm officially exhausted! I'm not trying to complain at all...as I love my job...but boy is it keeping me busy lately. My old job was SO much worse....as this time of year I was hardly home and I hardly slept. This job I at least get home at a descent time and do get plenty of time with family and for sleep...but the past few days have just been long and draining. I am looking forward to this busy season to be over with so I can catch up on some much needed rest. Sometimes just working so much can really wear a person out. That's where I'm at right now....

Weekend Plans

We always enjoy getting out some on the weekends. Jen and kaelyn especially...as they are kind of coupled up in the house most of the week with this cold weather now. This weekend I think we're going to do some things around the house today, but then will go and visit her family tomorrow afternoon. We haven't been there in a while and thought it would be fun. Hopefully the weather holds out so we are able to go.

Loving it!

I am sure enjoying my new job! I've been there for almost a two months now and so far it's exactly what I had hope it would be and more! They make it easy for me to spend time with my family and do a job that I love. Sales is definitely my thing. I know with the economy the way it is some were worried that I may make a wrong decision by quitting my previous job....but I knew God would work it out if it was meant to be...and He did!! I'm so thankful!

Regency

More than 50 years ago a beauty school called Regency was founded and started up. Over the years they have continued to grow into what is called the fastest growing beauty school in the country. They went from only having two schools in Minnesota, to almost 30 campuses in 2002 across the country. They are planning to continue their growth over the next year which is very exciting for many interested in beauty schools in michigan.

The unique approach that they bring to this field of education is amazing from what I've read. The hands on experience their students receive not only benefits them and their future success, but also the salons and the community. I was impressed with the information I read about this school and wanted to pass it along for others that might be interested in it.

Getting the House Ready

Jen and I have seriously been discussing the option of moving this Spring. To do that though, we obviously have to sell our house. Before we put it on the market at the end of winter....we really want to get some things done first. One of those things is to paint the ceiling in our family room. It's definitely seen better days, and it's an inexpensive way to really liven up that room a bit. I'm going to tackle that job today I think. It will be time consuming, but will look so nice once it's done. I am also planning to reseal the bathtub upstairs. Other than that we just have things here and there that we'll do before me move. All and all though...it will be ready to sell which is great. Now we just need to start looking for a different house....

Winter Weather

We woke up this morning to find the snow falling. I was really hopeful that the snow would be gone by this weekend...but unfortunately it continues to fall. Maybe this is a sign that winter will be here early and then be gone earlier?! No, probably not. I have a feeling it means we're in for a long winter. We'll just have to see I guess. I sure wish it wasn't so cold and snowy already though...I haven't even had the chance to rake up all the leaves yet. Bummer....

Capella University

Have you ever wanted to go back to school but didn't know how you would do it and keep your job at the same time? I often wondered this, but then, after looking through many online colleges, came across Capella University. They are a fully accredited online university that has many different PhD degrees programs to offer people just like you and me! They make it easy to get an education online from the comfort of your own home while still keep you job and living your life as you normally do. If you're looking to better yourself and further your education Capella may be a great place to start. You can check out their user friendly site for more information. They even offer Inside Online Education podcasts where they interview current staff and students. It's a great way to learn more about their school and all they have to offer.

Relaxing Weekend

I love Saturdays, especially when I don't have to work!! It seems like there's always things to do...but I love being able to relax some with the family as well. I mean, I don't mind the weekdays...I like my job a lot! But I also really enjoy having a couple of days off...who doesn't, right?!? Some saturdays I have to work, but now with the weather getting colder it will become less and less.

Cape Verde Islands

Someday I think it would be a lot of fun to invest in properties around the world! It's always something that I have wanted to do, and hope to one day get the chance! I was recently reading about this, and came across a new property hotspot for investors on the cape verde islands. In looking at Homes Abroad Cape Verde which is a part of the Homes Abroad Group...I was very impressed and know this is something I'd be interested in. How about you? They are an established real estate agent who has successfully sold property in countries like Spain, Turkey, Cyprus and others! Check out their site for more information if you're interested in learning more about how you could invest in Cape Verde Property !

Birthday Girl!

Well....the day is finally here! Our little girl is one year old! Tomorrow is the day of her actual party...but we're excited to have the opportunity to spend the day with her today, just relaxing and opening gifts. I had to work this morning, but am happy to be home and see the Birthday Girl! Jen and I were looking through some pictures recently of Kaelyn when she was just born and it's so weird to see how much a baby changes in the first year! She's such a joy.

Promises

If you've ever been looking for a drug treatment program, you may have heard of the Promises Treatment Centers before?! I actually just learned of them, but thought it would be beneficial to others if I passed along some information about them. They are a treatment center that wants to help you get your life back. They want to help give you the help you need so the healing can begin. If hope is what you need....Promises may just be the place for you. Their website is full of information so check it out and see what you think...they may be the california drug rehab program you've been looking for.

Almost Time...

Our little girl is going to be 1 in less than a week!! Can you believe it?? I can't! The past year has gone by so quickly. I never thought that she would grow so quickly. I've heard parents say that the time just flies, but until you have kids of your own you just don't realize the reality of that statement. I'm glad that I've been able to spend so much time with her, and even though I work I have got to witness many of the milestones she's gone through. Aren't babies wonderful?!? She's such a sweet little girl....

aGoodCause.com

aGoodCause.com is a site that anyone looking to support their faovrite charity should check out! They have a partnership between 700 different charities.....save the children and red cross just to name a couple. They make it super easy and free to anyone who shops online. All you have to do is download their AidMaker software and when you purchase something online, at over 5000 stores, a portion will automatically be given to your charity....for free!! Isn't that neat? I really am happy I came across this. It's great because there are so many people who shop online. If you'd like to get more information, check out www.agoodcause.com today!

Snow already!

I can't believe that there's actually snow on the ground! Yep, that's right! There's actually snow on the ground. Isn't that sad?!? I don't like winter at all so the fact that we have snow on the ground already and it's not even November is quite depressing. I'm hoping it warms up again and we get rid of it all. I'm not ready for all the white stuff on the ground. It seems like it comes earlier and earlier each year!

Find.com

I don't know about you, but I enjoy the fact that there are search engines out there making it possible for us to find the things we need online. There are so many things out there on the web...to me a search engine is the only way to find what you're looking for quickly and easily! The thing is...there are good search engines, and not so good search engines. What do I determine to be a good one? Well...Find.com is probably one of my favorites. Find.com has a consumer search engine and directory. Whether you're looking to Find Jobs, Find People, Find Friend or something else...they have it all! For instance, I was looking for more polictical information on John McCain and got lots of useful information. Like many other reviewers...I find it to be a very user-friendly site, that is fast and extremely accurate! I also like the fact that their URL is so easy to remember...I mean, who wouldn't remember Find.com?!? It's a growing site with 500 articles and lots more to come. If you're interested I strongly urge you to check out the Find.com Search Engine today. You won't be sorry you did!

Is the weekend over?

I can't believe the weekend is over already! Why does it seem the weekends go by quickly and the weeks go by slowly?? I had a nice weekend, so that's good at least. Jen and I got a lot done around the house on Saturday, and yesterday her parents came up to visit for her birthday! That's always nice to see them!! In fact, Jen and I even got a date....how great is that?!? It was fun to go to a movie...it's been over a year since we did that. I hope we're able to go on more dates in the near future.

ShopWiki.com

ShopWiki.com is a site that I recently came across. They are so much better than searching through Google!! The reason being is that they crawl the web like Google, but they find you all the stores you need, whether they've paid for a placement or not! It's great because it's so organized too. It's not like you search and then have to sift through tons of information. You go to their site, click on a category that you'd like to search through, and then the product.

I was just doing this today, and let me tell you....it's SO easy! I love how convenient it makes shopping online...and how fast I can do it now. For instance, I went on and looked under video game consoles because I need to find a buying guide for the Playstation 3. I then went further and found the prices that I needed and more! If you're looking for something specific...check out this site first.

Costume Jewelry

It seems costume jewelry, or fashion jewelry I should say, is becoming more and more popular these days. I'm seeing it mon more and more women. I can see why it's a trend that has caught on....I for one think it's pretty stylish too. What do you think?!? I was looking around, thinking I might get something like this for my wife for her birthday...and came across Holsted Jewelers. I was really impressed with their selection and their prices. I loved how their site was so easy to navigate as well. It was really easy for me to find the type of jewelry I was looking for and the price range. I definitely suggest taking a look at their site when you get the chance, you won't be sorry you did.

Sweet Little Girl

Our little girl is going to be 1 in three weeks!!

The News

Have you been watching the news channels at night?!? Wow....you can't turn a channel without hearing one of two topics....the presidential election and our economy. I guess they kind of go hand in hand. I really like hearing what's going on...but Jen doesn't like that I watch it so much at night. The arguing between people on these shows has actually been giving her a headache at night. I may have to cut down just a little bit....as I want to be able to spend time with her without her feeling sick. I have to agree with her...the arguing is irritating. Don't you think?!? It's an ongoing debate until election time...with fingers pointing.

Mark and Associates

Mark and Associates, P.C. is a leader in personal injury law. They have offices in Boston, Massachusetts and Long Island. Their firm helps to represent those injured maritime workers in the US. They actually applaud Obama for his support of the Jones Act. They enjoy knowing that he backs the federal law where financial compensation is given to seamen who have been injured on the job. Obama is actually endorsed by the Seafarers International Union for his support of the 1920 law. If you'd like to learn more about this and the maritime lawsuit, especially in this time of campaigning....check out http://www.maritimelegalrights.com and http://www.jonesactrights.com..

One More Day...

Today is Friday and I couldn't be happier. Last week I had a very long week...and this week has just flown by. I've been looking forward to the weekend all week and I'm so glad it has come so quickly. Unfortunately I think that the weekend is going to fly by! We have a bridal shower tomorrow morning, and then all afternoon and night we have a banquet for my job. By Sunday I think we're just going to be exhausted. It will be a nice day to just relax. It's almost like weekends just need one extra day...isn't it?!

Weight Loss Surgery

I was just watching TV yesterday and they were saying how more than ever people are starting to become more conscious about their weight. Many are turning to surgery for this reason. JourneyLite is a company that offers a weightloss surgery program that many have probably heard of. It's LapBand and very successful by the sounds of it. They're great to walk you through every step....everything from making sure it's the right option for you to insurance approval. Look into them if you're curious to learn more about lap band central florida.

It's Done!

Well it sounds like the Extreme Makeover Home Edition house is finished and it went very well yesterday when the family came home. Our local newspaper has been good to keep readers informed of the progress and what is going on. The family was in shock and were very thankfulfor all of the work that had been done. It's incredible that they can get a house up that fast! Wow! It looks amazing and I can't wait to watch it on TV in Dec. !!!

Credit Card Processing For Businesses

Having a business online is a big thing these days. With the internet being a main source of information and products to millions of people around the world, businesses benefit from offering their services and products online. It's also a very popular way to shop for many people. One thing that really benefits businesses and their customers is offering a way for them to to use their credit cards to make purchases on their site. I know this always is a plus for me when shopping online. Having a credit card processing service is really helpful. You not only bring customers, but it's very convenient for you too. You get the payment right away and don't even have to worry about late payments. You don't have to worry about bad checks or the payment delay....it's all in an instant! If you'd like to learn more, you can check out Merchantacceptance.com!

Love My Job

I am sure enjoying my new job! I've been there for almost a month now and so far it's exactly what I had hope it would be and more! They make it easy for me to spend time with my family and do a job that I love. Sales is definitely my thing. I know with the economy the way it is some were worried that I may make a wrong decision by quitting my previous job....but I knew God would work it out if it was meant to be...and He did!! I'm so thankful!

Extreme Makeover House

We've had the opportunity to go out and see the Extreme Makeover Home Edition house that is being built in our town. I know some people might not think this is a big deal, but for us in a smaller town...it's huge!! It's been fun not only to see the designers of these how, but also to see the transformation of this house. Today the keys are being handed over to the homeowners and they get to see it for the first time. It should be a really exciting time for them. I can't wait to see it on tv.

Auto Body Shops

There have been times when Jen and I needed to find a body shop in our area but had a difficult time doing so...especially when we lived in a bigger city. I always found myself searching high and low through the phonebook...usually with very little success. I wanted something easier and more convenient the next time this happens...so I went searching and found a great site that lets you just this. Now, using collisionrepairexperts.com you see reviews and ratings for body shops in your area. This is perfect!! I can even get estimates and make appointments online. I can't think of an easier way to do this than that! If you'd like you can check them out and see what you think.

Goes Along With Being a Homeowner....

Recently we've been having some things in our home go wrong as far as appliances are concerned. First it was our washer which we still can't figure out what's wrong with...and then our water heater.

Our washing machine had been acting kind of funny for a while...not draining correctly, etc. Then one day, it began filling the whole basement with smoke. Immediately we thought it was probably a belt that had broke or something along those lines, but when opening it up and taking a look we couldn't see anything wrong. Weird, huh?! I think it may have been filled a bit too much or something, because since then we've had no problems. We're definitely keeping an eye on it though.

Our water heater is another story. For a while now it had been leaking VERY slowly. We didn't think much of it, until recently when it began leaking more and more. To the point where it took a full towel just to clean it up each day. After looking into the problem further, we figured out that it needed a new valve. I'm really happy we did that as there is now no more water to clean up!

I don't mean to complain about these things. It is quite frustrating to have appliance problems like this, but on the other hand it's something that goes along with being a homeowner I suppose.

Beautiful Time Of Year

It's sure been nice having this cooler weather outside, don't you think?!? I like it when it's just cool...not humid like some days, but just nice and cool. Why you ask? Well, not only is it more fun to take Kaelyn out and do things outside, but it's also easier to turn of the AC and enjoy cheaper utility bills as well! I think it's been two weeks since we had our air on and I am so happy about that. In the cold winter months you can't help but use heat, and in the hot summer months you can't help but use the AC...but in the spring and fall we get the chance to enjoy fresh air and minimize those expensive bills that seem to go up, up, up! I'm definitely enjoying this time. I'd love it if the whole year could be like this....Snow, snow...stay away....

Beauty Jobs

Beauty Jobs are those which I seem to hear more and more about lately, either on the radio, on tv, or even online. The only thing is, I've often wondered how people go about finding jobs in this field. Well...now they don't have to worry about that. Beautyjobs.com has been launched...it's a new online job search engine exclusively for the beauty industry. Isn't that great?!? Now those who are looking for a job, maybe a beauty job or spa jobs, can check this site out first! And best of all, it's FREE! If you're one of those people looking for a job, check this site out today.

Boy How She's Grown

Kaelyn is going to be 11 months old in about a week, and all I can think about is how much she has grown. She is now walking along furniture and talking non-stop. She has learned words like Dada, Baby, uh-oh, Mama, and more....it's so great to see how she is learning. Next thing I know she'll be walking and talking. She is getting so big. I'm sure all parents can relate to the feeling of time flying by. Before we had Kaelyn we were always told how fast the time goes...but I guess until your actually a parent it's difficult to completely comprehend what it is they're talking about. I don't know what it is, but when you have children your life speeds up. I find myself not only saying where did the day go, but also where did the past year go...

The Weekend is Almost Here!

Although I love my job, I also love the fact that I can be home on the weekends. There are always things to do around the house, and so that's the time I use to get them done. This weekend I am changing the drainage valve on my water heater, cutting down some branches off my trees in my yard, and last but not least painting the trim on my house. There is a lot do and so little time to do it.

Where do I start?

With starting a new career there is always a learning curve, but usually you get the training you need to succeed. The first two days were great, I was taken around to meet everyone, the second day we went to Ames to a seminar. My third day on the job I was left on my own, no body to learn from. So everyday I go to work wanting to impress my boss, but have to figure out on my own how to do that, so I alway wonder where to start.

I Play the Waiting Game

I started my new job about a week ago, and I love it. The only thing that my job is lacking is my pickup. On my first day they gave me a pickup to drive until the new ones came in. Thinking that I would be getting one of the new pickups I was so excited, but then my boss dropped the bomb. I don't get a new pickup, instead, I get the pickup of one of the other sales reps and he gets a new one. I was so bummed, but I guess anything is better than what I'm driving now. So I wait.

CSN

I love to shop online. It's easy and convenient. One of my favorite places to check out great collectibles on TV and online is the Cable Shopping Network. Not only does their staff really know how to have fun and truly love what they're doing, but they also build relationships with customers along the way. You can tell that they really care and this is probably why thousands and thousands of people shop with them. If you are looking for some great products, like presidential dollars, this is the place to look. They have become one of the most successful retailers in the industry.

The Best Time of Year!

I am quite the sports fan. Not only for football but also for Nascar, and Baseball. I like baseball because this is the Hunt for October, playoff time, Nascar is now in the race for the Sprint Cup, and the NFL has just begun and I am the biggest football fan of all. So this is the best time of year, I love it!

Looking Forward To The Weekend

I didn't used to count down the work days as much as I do now. Isn't that weird, since I enjoy my job so much? The reason is because with my old job I never knew if I was going to have the weekend off or not. That made it impossible to look forward to weekends, because I figured 9 times out of 10 that I would be working. Now, however....I can look forward to the weekends because I only work mon-fri (most of the time). I look forward to weekends because it's the time I get to be with Jen and Kaelyn and spend time with them. It's been so great...I'm really happy with how this job is going.

VoIP Phone Systems

VoIP phone systems by Xpander are a great choice for many different businesses. It doesn't matter if you're a big company or a small one....this phone system is flexible and so user friendly...anyone could use it! There are features like the plug and play phones and the web control panels that let you re route your extension, manage voicemails and more! What I like about having this kind of phones system at my place fo work is that it gives you complete control over the phones and features at your place of work. If you're interested in learning more about them, just take a moment and head over to their site for more information.

Ordering Clothes For Work

The other day I finally received the website I need from work to order my work clothes. At this job they give me a clothing allowance that I can use to purchase the shirts, hats and jackets that I need. I was really pleased with their selection, although I wish that they would have had pants and shoes as well. Oh well...anything is better than nothing...right?! I am excited to get them in...as they should be here quite soon. It will be nice to have many shirts and jackets to choose from. I'm looking forward to that!

Our Favorite Channel

Ever since we bought our home, HGTV is probably our favorite television channel to watch! We enjoy almost every show that they have on there, day or night. It's fun to watch as people change things in their house and what a difference those changes make. We've learned that it doesn't take much to update a room in your house. For instance, we painted an accent wall in our kitchen...and boy what a difference. We also updated our light fixture and put in a new sink. These were all fairly small things...and it's made our kitchen feel so much nicer. It's fun to get ideas like this off of HGTV.

Sports Tickets

Being the sports nut that I am...I would obviously love to go to a game. I love football especially...but even if I could get Miami Heat tickets or something like that I'd be happy too! I just love sports! I was doing some searching just to see if there's anywhere I can find NFL, MLB, NBA or even NHL team tickets and I came across Preimium Seats USA. They have a huge selection of first class tickets available for sporting events, as well as concerts and shows! It's really a great site for anyone looking for any kind of a ticket. I like that they have such a wide selection, that means that it would be easier to get the tickets that I want. Look into it next time you're looking for tickets.

First Birthday Coming Fast!

I can't believe Kaelyn is already 10 1/2 months old!! Where does the time go. We're starting to plan her 1st birthday party which hardly seems possible! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. Now I believe all those parents who told me how fast the time goes and how you should savor every moment while they're this little. It seems like Kaelyn was just born, and now in a short month and a half we will be celebrating her 1st birthday. WOW!

Spaghetti For Supper

It's getting a bit late and we want to do something easy for supper. I think I'll make spaghetti. It's an easy meal, but one that doesn't seem like it's "easy" because it tastes so good. The best part about spaghetti is that it's great left over too! I'm looking forward to it. I suppose I should get going and get it started. As Jen is really busy tonight working on stuff around the house and we are both very hungry.

Capella University

Capella University is a pretty well known school. It's a fully accredited online university that offers a number of master's and undergraduate degrees. I think this is a school I'd consider if I were to go back to school. I like how you can get your edcuation from home and keep the full time job that you may have!! If you're interested in looking into Capella today to get a degree online, check out their site. There you'll even find their Inside Online Education podcast where there is an interview with faculty member, Beverly Enns. They have had many great podcasts which are interviews with staff and students. What better way to find out about the school than hearing it first hand!?!

Needing Groceries

In looking for food to eat tonight for supper, I have come to the realization that we really need some groceries. I don't want to get a lot...but we definitely need the necessities. Unfortunately I think I am going to have to go out tonight and get them because we are kind of busy this weekend. I really don't want to with it getting so late, but I guess I don't really have a choice. Oh well...

Make Money Blogging

I just love blogging for money. One of my favorite companies to blog for is Blogitive. I like them because they give many opportunities during the week for people to make money. They put them out there and give everyone a chance to grab them. They only pay 5 dollars a piece, but for as many as they put out there that's fine with me! I think I probably make the most money with this company over any of the others. I especially like how they give you two days to do the posts. I really appreciate that being a working person.

Being a Daddy is the BEST!

I'm sure many would agree...there's nothing better than a baby's smile!! Kaelyn smiles and laughs all the time now and I have to say it just makes my day each and every time. She's such a happy little girl and always is such a joy to be around. She also dances a lot and is very social which is fun as well. Jen and I have so much fun with her. We couldn't ask for a sweeter and more entertaining little girl. It's fun to watch her each day and see all of the new things she is learning and doing. Babies change so much and grow so quickly that it's important to take in every moment.

Loving my job!

With my new job I am able to come home much earlier than I was with my old job. I'm also on more of a set schedule which is something I really wanted having a family and all. I didn't want to work every weekend, or 10 hours a day. It's so nice to get home by 5 and know that my weekends are set aside for my family! I know Jen and Kaelyn like that too. I love getting to spend more time with them now!! I'm really happy I made this move in my career.....the Lord has truly blessed us with this opportunity and I am very grateful for that!

Free online clinical solution

I was recently reading an article about the Influenza Infection and how it seems to be spreading quite rapidly lately, especially among children of all ages! The flu can be a scary thing, and it's important that one sees a doctor about it and is diagnosed correctly if they have it. Many doctors are now using the medical software by Epocrates which makes it easier for them to diagnose and treat patients with all kinds of illnesses. In fact, they even recently came out with a free online clinical solution that allows drs to find prescription information, diagnosis information, and treatment information all online!! It's free and so easy to use. I don't know about you, but I feel more confident knowing that my dr will be getting the information they need right there when they need it. It's a great new technology and one that more doctors and healthcare professionals should take advantage of. You can learn more and check it out for yourself by visiting their site today at www.epocrates.com/online.
This announcement was paid for by Epocrates.

Starting a New Job

It's been WONDERFUL being home with Jen and Kaelyn the past few days....but tomorrow I start my new job and will be back in the swing of things. At least the hours will be better and I'll get to be home more now. I'm a little nervous, but I'm sure that's normal starting a new job. At least all of the employees that I will be working with seem very nice and down to earth. I am also going to LOVE what I'm doing which is a huge plus. I think it's so important to enjoy what you're doing....almost more important than the money or benefits end of things. If you are not enjoying it then life can be absolutely miserable.

I will keep you updated on how everything goes on my first day tomorrow......

Smart Little Girl!

I always enjoy coming home from work and hearing all the new things that Kaelyn is doing. It makes me sad that I can't be there to witness them for the first time with Jen, but I love hearing all about them!! Yesterday for instance, I walked in and Jen told me to ask Kaelyn a question. I asked her if she was done eating, and not only did she do the "sign" for "all done"...which she has been doing for a while now...but she also shook her head yes! It was ADORABLE!! Kids are like little sponges and they soak everything up. I am amazed each and every day at the things she can do. She is learning so much, so quickly! What a sweetie!

Kaelyn's First Birthday

The other day I was sitting with Jenna and we were discussing Kaelyn and how she will be one before we know it. I can't believe it's only a couple of months off already!! Wow!! We're wanting to plan a first birthday party for her, with our families invited....so now the planning begins. Jen always has creative and fun ideas...and so far she's coming up with some neat plans!! It's going to be a very special day, for both Kaelyn and all who are there to help her celebrate! I can't wait for the day to come....but on the other hand it's really come to fast! I feel like just yesterday I was posting that we had a little girl, and now that little girl is getting older right before my eyes!!

Emotionally Draining Weekend

I had hoped to post more in the past week, but let me tell you....it's been one of the toughest weeks I've ever had. Some may be thinking busy....as that can make weeks rather hard, but I'm talking more emotionally difficult! For quite some time now I've been praying that the Lord show us if I am to take another job. I know He wants the absolute best for me and wants me to be happy in my job.

I went into my current job with every intention of staying there. However, with time I learned that my heart was not there. As much as I wanted it to be, it just wasn't. When I was in college I learned that sales is a field I was very interested in. After working almost two years in the agriculture industry, a career in sales became even more evident. As many people do, I kept my resume updated on Monster, as I never think that hurts. Not all that long ago, I received a call from a recruiter who was very interested in helping me find an agronomy sales position. I was open to the idea and so began my search. He came to me with many options, however many of which I had to turn down due to location and not wanting to relocate. Then one day, he came to me with a job that sounded ABSOLUTELY perfect!! It was not only in the area we wanted, but also offered everything and more. I prayed that the Lord lead me in the direction that I was to go and that it be clear to me. I've learned that God's plan for me is the VERY best, so I want exactly what he has for us....not just what I want. As time went on, and interviews were made.....I was feeling very good about this position. Finally, last Friday I received a call that literally had me jumping with joy! They had offered me the position and all the benefits I needed and wanted. God is SO good!!

Now the hard part came this weekend when I had to break the news to my employers, who are also my family members (two uncles and my grandpa). I care very much for them, and in no way wanted to disappoint them or make them angry. It was an emotionally draining weekend having to tell them, and so far just have one uncle left to tell. It's been one of the toughest things I have had to do in my life....but know that I am doing what's best because it's where God is leading me. He will take care of everything that comes my way! He always has, and He always will! My complete trust and faith is in Him!

I am now officially an agronomy sales specialist!! Yeah! Praise the Lord!! :)

Las Vegas

Las Vegas is a place that Jen and I have considered visiting. I have never been there, and Jen has but a long time ago. I was doing a little research, and on the site, Best Of Vegas, I came across some great information regarding Las Vegas Hotels, Las Vegas Shows and the low prices that we could get for them. I also learned more about the tours, attractions and clubs in the area. All of it was very interesting and informative. I really liked how they only give you the best of the best. This is exactly what I was looking for. If you're like me and looking into Las Vegas vacations....check out their site today. You won't be sorry you did.

Busy, Busy

Wow...I can't believe it's already Wednesday! Where do the weeks go? So far this week has just flown by. It hardly seems possible that we're half way through the week already. I'm not complaining or anything...I love my weekends! I just can't get over the fact how fast the days are going by. I don't mind the time I'm at work going by quickly, but once I'm home with Jen and Kaelyn I wish it would slow down a bit! I'd like to feel like I had more time to spend with them. But often by the time I get home, Kaelyn is off to bed and Jen and I have work to do around the house.

My Sister is Visiting

My sister is stopping by today. She hasn't seen us or Kaelyn for over a month...so she was wanting to come over and visit. I think she's coming this afternoon sometime when kaelyn wakes from her afternoon nap. Then she's planning on staying a bit so she can see Jen and I too for a while. It will be nice to see her. She's also bringing some clothes from my sister who livs out in Virginia. They are done having children, so she is sending all of her girl clothes to us for Kaelyn. I thought that was pretty nice of her.

Outlawradiators.com

Outlawradiators.com is a site that I think many people should check out. They are the leading online source for radiators and cooling components. They really have great quality radiators at the lowest prices around. They also offer a satisfaction guaranteed lifetime warranty. It doesn't matter if you're looking commercially or for personal reasons for a Radiator...they are a great resource and I had to pass the information along to others who might be interested in learning more. If you'd like to check them out and see what they're all about....head over to their site when you get the chance and see what you think. I don't think you'll be sorry you did.

HGTV

Ever since we bought our home, HGTV is probably our favorite television channel to watch! We enjoy almost every show that they have on there, day or night. It's fun to watch as people change things in their house and what a difference those changes make. We've learned that it doesn't take much to update a room in your house. For instance, we painted an accent wall in our kitchen...and boy what a difference. We also updated our light fixture and put in a new sink. These were all fairly small things...and it's made our kitchen feel so much nicer. It'fs fun to get ideas like this off of HGTV.

Curb Appeal

Recently we did some landscaping around our house. We kept it pretty simple, as this is what we like best. So far the plants and flowers all seem to be doing very well...except for a few that seem to be getting attacked by bugs! I am surprised, as Jen nor I have green thumbs so to speak. They're all growing very well though, and have really added to the "curb appeal" of our house. At some point we would like to add some more rock to the front of the house and get rid of a HUGE tree in our front yard...but so far it's looking really nice!

Beach Store

Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to go to the beach many times in my life...but it sure would be fun sometime to go on a vacation and just relax with my family. If we ever do that I'm definitely going to have to look into Beach Chair. They help beach goers find the most reliable products needed to have a good time. Whether you're looking for beach chairs, umbrellas, bags, towels, carts, beachwear, or something else....they have it all! If you're interested in learning more about them like I was....head over to their site where you'll find all the information you need.

Summer Flying By

Doesn't it seem like the summer months go way too fast? Where I live they do anyways! Here in the midwest it seems we only get a few months of really nice weather...while the other 8 months or so are winter! I don't mind alittle winter, but overall I'd prefer it warm with now snow on the ground. It just seems like the nice weather goes by more quickly than we want it to...making it hard to even enjoy the little bit of summer time that we have. Soon it will be fall and the temps will begin to drop. I'm hoping I get some more time outdoors with the fam to enjoy this warm weather before it cools down.

Busy at Work

Thankfully the weather has been pretty nice lately. Usually I wouldn't mind a little bit of rain, but when that happens this time of year it just drags out this busy time at work. I like to just get my work done. We're spraying for bugs right now in the fields and I am really hoping to be done by the end of the week. It's not hard or anything, but the hours are longer, which means less time with Jen and Kaelyn at night. I'd even like to take off a couple days before our Fall busy season starts....so we'lll have to see how things go.

Blister Prevention Patches

Living here in the midwest I know something about Tamarack Habilitation Technologies, Inc. They manufacture Blister Prevention Patches which are supposed to be a great product. In fact, I just read that it was announced that the patches have been awarded the National Health and Wellness Club Seal of Approval. If you'd like to learn more about them you can read the product reviews and testimonials that come out in print online released this fall. I was really impressed with all the information I found on their site as well, and I think you will be too. Check it out and see what you think.

Mail

Yesterday Jen got some great things in the mail. She had ordered a toy box for Kaelyn and it's very nice. It's actually bigger than we expected which will be nice. Kaelyn has a lot of toys already and she's not even a year old...haha. She also ordered a few pictures to hang in the newly finished bedroom downstairs. They are canvas pics and look really neat. She doesn't have them hung yet, but when she does they will look great with the other things she's done in there.

Consignment Sale

Jen and I were just talking last night and it sounds like we're going to be going to the big consignment sale that's about an hour from where we live at the beginning of September. Last Spring we had such good luck finding lots of great things for Kaelyn. I'm hoping we have the same luck this time! I think we're hoping to find quite a few clothes for Kaelyn for the winter and next Spring, as well as some toys that will be age appropriate for her once she turns one. She's such a busy baby and needs lots of things to keep her entertained and interested.

Regency

If you've ever looked into going to a beauty school...you may have come across Regency. They are the fastest growing beauty school in the country. They were founded more than 50 years ago in Minneapolis, and have now expanded to over 30 campuses in 9 different states across the US. What's great about this school...and probably different than other schools like it...is their approach. They give students a hands on and high quality education. Sound like something you're looking for? If so, definitely check out their site today and see if beauty schools in minnesota are the right place for you! You won't be sorry you did.

A Schedule for Kaelyn

It's so nice having Kaelyn on a set schedule...Jen has done such a good job with her! Having her on a set, two naps a day and eating three solid meals a day really helps. I think it's good for Kaelyn because then she knows what's coming next...and for us it's nice because we can try to plan around those times. When she was a newborn it was a bit harder because she was sleeping and eating constantly. Now, with time she's settled into quit the routine and it's very nice! I think part of it is that Jen was a teacher...so she knows how to get kids on a schedule and why it's so important for them.

Time With Family

I'm really looking forward to work slowing down a bit. We've been quite busy lately, and I can't wait for a week when I can just go in and come home at a descent time of day. Jen and I trying to get so much done at home so with all of that it would be nice to get home at a good time of day so that I'm not completely exhausted and having to stay up late. I think after this week our schedule should get better. You never know, but so far that's what it's looking like. I sure hope so...I need some time to catch up on sleep and spend some quality time with Jen and Kaelyn.

Allegro Medical

There are so many terrific sites out there today...and I do my best to share with others when I come across a new one that would be helpful to someone. AllegroMedical.com is one of these sites. They offer so many wonderful life enhancing products. It's too good to pass up. They are quickly growing and currently serve more than one million customers! Wow!! That goes to show how successful they truly are....and what a good company they have come to be. They offer products such as Exercise & Fitness Equipment, Nutritional Dietary Supplements, Maternity/Baby Supplies and Outdoor Gear. That's a wide variety and is sure to meet the needs of many people. Their website offers 55,000 products and 50 categories of things. It's really easy to use and you'll have no problem finding what it is you're looking for. Whether it's cervical collars or something else....check this site out before you shop elsewhere!

Busy Week

It's only Tuesday and I'm already stressing about all the things we have to get done this week! Tonight I need to get some more trim done in the basement. I think two-three more days and we will have that finished. The problem is finding the time. Tomorrow evening my sister will be coming up to visit, one night my mom will be stopping for supper, one night we may be going out with my dad for his birthday....and sometime in there we have to get Kaelyn's 9 month pics taken. I love doing all of these things....I'm just wondering when we're going to finally get this basement done?!? Hopefully this weekend.

Kaelyn is 9 Months Old

I can't get over the fact that Kaelyn is over 9 months old now! I know I say that every month...but it's crazy to me how quickly she is growing and changing. Jen was telling me the other day how we're going to have to get her pics taken soon...and I was like "what...didn't we just get them taken?". She reminded me that Kaelyn turned 9 months recently...and that she hadn't had her pics since 6 months old. That's how quickly the time goes! It felt like just yesterday that we were getting her pics taken. Wow! Before I know it my little girl will be one!!

Monaco Rare Coin

If you are into investing then you have probably heard something about Monex?! Right? They are a trusted leader in precious metals investments and have been for a very long time!! They have many satisfied customers and continue to be successful in all that they do. I'm sure you've heard of them, but have you heard about another part of their company called Monaco Rare Coin?? I had heard of them a little bit, but learned more about this rare coin dealer after I read about them in a press release recently. They offer a variety of resources for investors and collectors and have very knowledgeable staff to help out. Learn more on their site today!

Where's the food?

In looking for food to eat, I have come to the realization that we really need some groceries. I don't want to get a lot...but we definitely need the necessities. Unfortunately I think I am going to have to go out tonight and get them because we are very busy this weekend. I really don't want to with it getting so late, but I guess I don't really have a choice. Oh well...

Our Baby

Even though I'm gone during the day and don't get to see Kaelyn much, I really enjoy the times I do get to see her...like in the morning and evenings. Going in and seeing her sitting up waiting for me in the morning in her crib is so cute! Then when I got to work and say bye bye to her...she always says bu bu and even blows kisses now. What a joy she is to have in our lives!! The Lord has truly blessed us!

Do you agree?

Is there anyone who enjoys doing bills?? I know I don't. It's one thing I absolutely dread doing. I have to do them tonight and I am not looking forward to it at all. I don't know if it's just because there's so much to do, or if it's watching our money disappear to all of the bills we have...but whatever it is, it's not something I enjoy much at all!! Oh well, I guess bills are a part of life. Hopefully as the years go by we will have less and less.

Epocrates

Thankfully I don't go to the Drs much, but when I do, I must say the thing that frustrates me most isn't sitting in the waiting room...but in the exam room. I know the doctor's have to make sure they're giving you the right prescription....but sometimes it takes forever for them to get the information they need. That's why I thought it was great when I read that Epocrates, Inc has created medical reference software for PDA's. So many docotr's carry a smartphone or PDA...so this is perfect. Now they can get information like drug dosing, side effects and even health plan coverage!! I thought this was very good for both patients and health care professionals a like! Learn more on Epocrates site today! This announcement was paid for by Epocrates

Almost Done

I can't be on long, as I really have a lot of painting to get done before tomorrow morning....but I just wanted to take a minute and let it be known how extremely happy I am that today was my last day of work for the week!! YEAH!! I couldn't be happier about that. :) Tomorrow the carpet in our basement is getting laid and it is going to look so nice. We're so ready to be done with this basement remodel that it's not even funny. I'll have to post pics here sometime soon!!

Wonderful Mom

I don't tell her enough, but Jenna is such a great mom! I always knew she'd be wonderful.....but she's even better than I could have ever imagined. She has done such a good job getting Kaelyn on a schedule. It's made our lives so much easier!! It took some time, but now Kaelyn is down to a set two naps a day, and is eating at set times as well. She is such a good mom, and I want her to know that every day of the year. It takes such patience to be a stay at home mom, as well as selflessness...and she has both. She does such a great job...I'm so proud of her and always knew that she'd be a great Mom!

Earn Money Fast

One of the best ways to make a little extra money is to go online and find blogging opportunities. This is what I've been doing over the past couple of years and it's really worked out well for both myself and my wife! We just do it in our spare time, and the money really adds up. It's especially perfect for her, as she is a stay at home mom. I would encourage anyone with extra time in their day to check out different blogging for money opportunities!

Midwest Auto Recycling

Have you ever been in the market for a used engine or transmission? I know I have! Well, if so, then you definitely need to look into midwest auto recycling. They are a great resource for you to find specialized used engines and transmissions, offering a very strong warranty nation wide. What's great is that all the miles are CARFAX verified, and engines are completely assembly. You know you are getting the best, because they are all started, compression, tested, cleaned and checked. If you'd like to learn even more about Midwest Auto Recycling, you check out this site for more information.

Almost finished

Our basement is sure coming along!! I have been really busy mudding and sanding down there this week and think it's coming to the point where primer will get put on soon!! I am very excited and so is Jenna. We will soon have a new place to hang out in our home. There will be a family room, playroom and bedroom down there when we're finished. we're so happy we bought a house with potential...and one that we could make our own!!

Reality TV

I don't know about you, but I am hooked on reality television. I mean, don't get me wrong...there are definitely some shows out there that I have no intention of ever watching...but others that I love!! Design star is one of them, and Jen and I can't get enough of it!! We love watching the designs these people come up with, as well as guessing who will be the next to go. If you've never watched it, you should!! It's on Sunday evenings. Definitely a show worth watching!!

Djembe Drums

Are you someone who enjoys a unique hand drum? Maybe you're a beginner in playing hand drums or maybe you're a professional. Whatever the situation may be, you definitely need to check out X8 Drums when you get the chance. They recently announced that they have a new line of Pro African X8 djembe drums. You'll find the most beautiful selection of homemade drums. If you're looking for true beauty and quality, this is the place for you. Take a moment and check out their site today. There you'll find a wealth of information. You won't be sorry you did.

Changes

I sure am liking my new template!! And have received some very nice feedback about it too!! I thought I'd pick something with a little femininity since this blog is about Jen and I both. I was happy with the way it turned out. Lately I've become quite interested in changing my blogger templates and seeing how they turn out. I'm learning a lot just through messing around with the html. Thank goodness for the "preview" option though...as I would have severely messed things up several times if I had to save before viewing each time!!

Yum!

Jen is so good to keep me informed of the different foods she is trying with Kaelyn each week. I am always at work when she tries them for the first time...so it's nice that Jenna lets me know how she reacts. It's fun to hear these things...that way I don't feel like I'm completely missing out. Recently Jen gave her peas. She said that she did not like them at all!! I don't know if it was the texture or the taste...but she kept spitting them out and turning her head. She said she will try again today and see if she gets another reaction. I don't know though....Jen's mom said that when she was little she never liked peas...and to this day she can't hardly stomach the smell even.

CSN

Have you ever heard of the Cable Shopping Network? I'm sure if you enjoy shopping then you have! CSN has an amazing selection of products to offer you. I think it's great that you can go to one place and find a wide range of collectibles. So many people agree, that because of their customer base, they've actually become one of the most successful retailers in the collectibles industry. Still not sure what you think? Well, take a moment and check out CSN's website and on television to learn more. You'll find a wealth of information about the products that they offer and presidential dollars.

Frustrated

I am a little frustrated. Jen and I have a couple of things we are waiting to come in...Kaelyn's pictures and some pull handles in our kitchen. Both places gave us today as the date that these items would be in...but unfortunately they are not. It's frustrating because we're waiting on the pictures so we can finish giving them out to family members, and the pull knobs so we can finish getting our kitchen in order. Oh well I guess...what can you do?! We'll just make do.

Need groceries

In looking for food to eat, I have come to the realization that we really need some groceries. I don't want to get a lot...but we definitely need the necessities. Unfortunately I think I am going to have to go out tonight and get them because we are very busy this weekend. I really don't want to with it getting so late, but I guess I don't really have a choice. Oh well...

Paintball

ZephyrPaintball.com is a site you probably have heard of if you're into the sport of Paintball. Who are they you might be asking yourself? Well, they are a great site that offers low prices and free shipping on all kinds of Paintball gear and equipment like guns, electric airsoft rifles, goggles, hats, hoodies, jerseys, Paintballs, and more!! You'll find well known brands such as Dye, Kingman, PMI, Empire, Zap as well! If you'd like to learn more about this great site and all the prodcuts they have to offer you, check out their site or give them at call at 877-814-4297.

Supper

I really need to decide what I'm going to have for supper. Jen's busy with stuff around the house and I need to get in the basement and get to work. I'm not sure what we have around here to eat...but it doesn't look like much. I'd really like to eat something though...as it's already 7:30 and I still have yet to eat since lunch. Hopefully I can find something good...maybe just a sandwich or something.

Importance of Family

One thing I hate about being so busy at work, is that I miss seeing my little girl! When I get home Jenna is still up, but Kaelyn is already in bed. And she's still in bed when I leave in the morning. It makes me sad that I don't get to see her as much as I would like. I sure hope the busy time at work is done soon...because I can't do this the whole summer. I want my family to come first before work...that's more important to me.

Wedding Planning

I remember when my wife and I planned our wedding...it was a lot of work. Her mom helped us a lot which was great! Without help it can get very stressful and a bit overwhelming. Planning your wedding should be as stress-free as possible...and that's where WeddingChannel.com can help give you Wedding Ideas. They are a great resource for brides and grooms who need some help planning their wedding! They have been around since 1997 and want to help you in whatever way they can. They offer free interactive planning tools, expert advice, photos, a vendor guide and so much more! I was really impressed when going over their site and thought others would be too. Check it out for yourself and see what you think.

Make Money Easily

Making money online is so great! It's a wonderful way to make a little extra cash each month. Jen and I like to do updates on our home...and getting paid to blog is a great way for us to be able to do this comfortably and more often than we otherwise would be able to. What's so great about it is that it's easy and you can do it when you want. I've talked to people that think it's too good to be true...but my comment to them is that "you're missing out then" because it's definitely legit.

Out on the lake...

I'm looking forward to this weekend. Tomorrow Jen's parents and brother are coming up to visit. Her dad and I have some more work to do in the basement...but we're also going to hopefully go out and enjoy some time on the lake. Kaelyn hasn't been out there yet, so we're going to take her out on the pontoon. Us guys will enjoy some time out on the jet skis. Now just hopefully the weather stays nice enough for us to go!

Capella

I'm sure anyone who has ever looked into pursuing their masters degree or PhD degree...has heard of Capella University. They are a well known and fully accredited online university. They offer a great educational experience for many people who are wanting their online university degree...making getting a degree easy and convenient. Recently i was learning more about them for myself and read about their online academic writing center...mainly used by graduate level students. This center helps students with instruction, resources, and strategies when writing. I think it's great that they have such a neat online writing center. something I would definitely take advantage of...how about you?

Weather

The weather has been really stormy lately. Last night I didn't even know it was going to rain...that is until I woke up to the crashing thunder and pouring rain. It felt like it rattled the house it was so loud! It seems to have stopped now...but it still looks rather cloudy and gloomy out. I hope tomorrow is a bit nicer. I like my weekends to be warm and sunny...not cloudy and rainy. I'll have to see what the weatherman has to say.

Baby Food-Applesauce

Jen does such a good job making Kaelyn's baby food. Kaelyn really seems to like it too. It's so easy and costs a lot less than buying the baby food in the stoer. Recently she made homemade apple sauce which was so yummy!!! I even tried it.:) Kaelyn seemed to really like it too!! We always enjoy watching her facial expressions as she eats a new food for the first time. It's so cute how she crunches her face together.

Beauty School

Living here in Minnesota, I've heard a lot about the Regency beauty school. How about you? They are the fastest growing beauty school in the country and founded more than 50 years ago!! I think it's pretty impressive that they went from having two schools in Minnesota to having over 30 campuses across 9 different states!! Isn't that amazing?!? Wow!! Have you ever wanted to attend a great beauty school like this? If so, you should check out the Regency website today. Be a part of their exceptional training programs and the benefits students have by going to their school. Check it out and see what you think.

Doing Bills

Is there anyone who enjoys doing bills?? I know I don't. It's one thing I absolutely dread doing. I have to do them tonight and I am not looking forward to it at all. I don't know if it's just because there's so much to do, or if it's watching our money disappear to all of the bills we have...but whatever it is, it's not something I enjoy much at all!! Oh well, I guess bills are a part of life. Hopefully as the years go by we will have less and less.

Better Hours At Work

Thankfully work has been slowing down some now. It was getting a little hectic there for a while....working about 15 hours a day and then coming home to work on our basement at night. Now I'm back to pretty normal hours...which is still 10 hours a day...but not nearly as bad as it was. It's nice to feel like I have time in the evenings to spend with Jen and kaelyn and work on our basement some.

Radiator.com

Are you or someone you know looking for a Honda Radiator? If so, have you ever thought to check out radiator.com? They are the largest radiator distributor in the country!! I know this is a company I would want to go through when looking for a radiator...and thought you might as well. Their warehouse offers over 60,000 different radiators and ac condensers. They are known for their quality and the unlimited lifetime warranty that they offer. If you'd like to learn more you can check out their site today. They offer a wealth of information there, and it's very user-friendly. You won't be sorry.

Kaelyn Sue

Even though I'm gone during the day and don't get to see Kaelyn much, I really enjoy the times I do get to see her...like in the morning and evenings. Going in and seeing her sitting up waiting for me in the morning in her crib is so cute! Then when I got to work and say bye bye to her...she always says bu bu and even blows kisses now. What a joy she is to have in our lives!! The Lord has truly blessed us!

Lots of Updates

It's been a lot of fun doing little updates here and there to our home. We bought it in August and have really done a lot in that short amount of time. We've separated off one of our rooms...to make four bedrooms upstairs instead of three. We've also painted many rooms, added many new light fixtures and even have started a basement remodel that is going to be amazing! It's fun to move into a home that needs a little work. That way you can make it yours and really make it feel like a home!

Symark Software

Symark Software is the leading company of UNIX and Linux security administration solutions. I recently read that they announced in a web release that their PowerBroker and PowerPassword access control solutions will support the new HP Integrity servers. I thought this was great for organizations who are wanting to go with Symark Software to help keep their information safe and comply with the different federal and industry regulations out there. Whether you've heard of them or not, you may want to head over to their site to learn more about this great news and also the software that they offer for password vault.

Baby Food: Peas

Too Hot...then Too Cold

For some reason our house has not been very easy to keep a comfortable temperature lately. It's either way too hot, or way too cold. I think part of the problem is that our house is shaded, so this adds to the "cold" problem. However...the hot...I don't know?!? I don't think it helps that when I'm home I am working on our basement where it's really, really cool. Then when I go upstairs where it's warmer...it begin sweating and can't hardly stand it. Oh well...I guess that's just how summer goes. Some days are warmer than others...and it's hard to keep messing with the air conditioner all the time to try and make it comfortable. We'll just have to make do...

Kava

Did you know that Hawaii is known for the most sought after coffee?! Why you ask? Well, because the climate there in the fertile slopes of Kona's Hualalai Mountain and the rick soil help to produce kava root. What's great is that all their products are organically certified and grown right there at the Kona Kava Farm. No one can match the variety of Kava products they offer because they are the ones that grow it and supply it. If you would like to learn more about kava root, the effects it has and how it can help you restore balance in your life....check out their site today. There you will find a wealth of information about it.

Out to eat...our Anniversary date

This week has really been busy for me at work. I've been working long days and am so exhausted when I get home. Jen and I celebrated our three year wedding anniversary this past week, but with the busy work schedule, we weren't able to go out and do anything. We are discussing going out to eat or doing something fun on Saturday evening maybe. We'll have to make sure I don't have to work first...but it's tentatively planned that way anyways. I'm not sure where we'll go...I know Jen love the Olive Garden though?! ;)

New Template

How do you all like my new template? I would love to hear what you think.

PowerOptions

I am definitely one who is always interested in learning more about stocks and investment opportunities. That's why hearing more about PowerOptions and what it can do for me was very interesting! Have you ever heard of PowerOptions before? They are a wonderful resource for those wanting to learn more about investing with stock options. And, using their software SmartSearchXL, which can't be found anywhere else...you can find, compare, analyze and make money stock option trading! It's very convenient and easy to sort and filter through all the stocks and options this way. I am definitely going to continue to learn more about them and iron condor, and you should too!

Family First

One thing I hate about being so busy at work, is that I miss seeing my little girl! When I get home Jenna is still up, but Kaelyn is already in bed. And she's still in bed when I leave in the morning. It makes me sad that I don't get to see her as much as I would like. I sure hope the busy time at work is done soon...because I can't do this the whole summer. I want my family to come first before work...that's more important to me.

Busy

I'm really feeling exhausted lately!! We've been swamped at work, which means long, long days for me. Like 14 hour days! I leave at 6:30 and don't get home til' 8:30 or 9! I feel bad too, because that means Jenna is overwhelmed with all the work at home too. I try to help her as much as I can, but it's just hard when work is so busy too. I know she's feeling stressed...hopefully it will slow down soon!

Monaco Rare Coin

When my wife's grandpa died, we found that he had collected many rare coins over the years. This was a very smart decision on his part...as they were worth a lot of money, and still are! It got us thinking about some of the investment options we'd like to look into...and as we searched, we came across Monaco Rare Coin. Right away they jumped out to us because they are a part of the Monex family of companies! Monex is a trusted leader in precious metals investments and has been for almost 40 years! They help thousands of people with their investment needs, with gold coins for instance. Monaco is definitely something we're interested in learning more about as they offer a unique and impressive variety of resources for both collectors and investors alike. If you'd like to learn more about them, check out their site today!

So blessed

My wife and I are celebrating our three year anniversary today!! We got to talking and it sure has gone by quickly. I know it sounds corny, but it's so true what they say...time flies when you're having fun!! We have grown so much more in love, even from the day that we got married. Our lives have been blessed more than words can say!! One of the biggest blessing was the birth of our little girl this past November!! What an exciting time parenthood has been for both of us. We know God has many wonderful things in store for us...and we can't wait!

Can you relate?

It seems like there is always something going to get at Walmart. Jen and I get groceries about every two weeks...but we find ourselves running back and forth to Walmart during that time several times for something. We both grew up in a smaller town than we live now...neither of which had a Walmart. It's hard to remember what we did when there wasn't one around. I mean, where did we go when we needed something last minute. All I know is I'm thankful we actually have one nearby.

Medical Software

When I was in school I took many medical related courses. I always thought it would be fun to be a doctor...but didn't know how they did all that they need to do in a day. They have all these patients with different needs...I thought it would be really hard to memorize everything dealing with all the different sicknesses they might be facing. Now I know that it's becoming easier for doctors and those in the health care profession with the introduction of medical reference software from Epocrates, Inc. This medical software helps doctors get the drug information they may need...like drug dosing, side effects, health plan coverage, etc...all very easily and quickly! Over 500,000 health care professionals are already using this software, and more will be sure to follow. If you're in the medical profession, or know someone who is...let them know about this great drug guide for iphone or PDA's. This announcement was paid for by Epocrates

Need to Relax

Wow have I been busy lately! Between working long hours at work, and then working on our basement and yard at home....it's just been a crazy busy week so far!! Last night I got home around 7, then I mowed the lawn and got groceries. By the time I got in the house it was very late and soon after it was time for bed already. I hope life slows down a little bit and gives me a chance to just relax. After the stressful weekend I had, I just need some time to enjoy relaxing with my wife and daughter!

Blog For Money

One of the best ways to make a little extra money is to go online and find blogging opportunities. This is what I've been doing over the past couple of years and it's really worked out well for both myself and my wife! We just do it in our spare time, and the money really adds up. It's especially perfect for her, as she is a stay at home mom. I would encourage anyone with extra time in their day to check out different blogging for money opportunities!

It's Official!

So it is official...Angelina and Brad Pitt are having twins. It's been rumored that she was pregnant with twins when she appeared to be showing much bigger for how far along she was in the pregnancy. She made it official in an interview for her newest movie coming out. Now, the question...are she and Brad married? This is another rumor that's been circulating, and not that I really care...but am curious to know if the rumors are true.

Bloggerwave

If you have a blog and want to earn a little extra money with it, then you should check out Bloggerwave! They can give you an awesome opportunity to make extra money by blogging about things you enjoy! This Summer

Last night was so nice. I got home from work earlier than normal...so I actually got to spend sometime with the family! I miss that when we're in the busy season...and enjoy every opportunity I have to be home with them!! This summer will be nice because work will slow down and I'll be home more. We'll get to go on walks, go to the lake...do all sorts of fun things together! I can't wait!

Jewelry

I enjoy finding new sites and letting others know about them when I think they are worth sharing. Recently, one site I am referring to is ViaLuxe.com. This is a site dealing with luxurious jewelry! Have you ever heard of them before? They offer a site for people to search through a very diverse selection of jewelry...everything from rings to pendants and necklaces...even a section about blancpain watches! They also offer a page specifically dedicated to laying out the brands offered in alphabetical order. This is a very organized site, and one many will enjoy shopping at. In looking deeper into this site, I really liked the fact that through it your brought together with dealers through the Dealer Locater tool. If you are someone who not only loves jewelry, but also finding a company that's trustworthy and dedicated to excellence and customer service...then this is the site for you!! When you get the chance, I strongly recommend you head over and check it out! You'll be amazed at their selection of quality pieces and the user-friendliness of their site! I know I was!! That's why I wanted to share it with all of you.

Busy Season

This busy season is really wearing on me fast. I work such long hours, by the time I get home all I want to do is go to bed. At least there is a light at the end of the tunnel....my boss told me that we are coming to the end of the season already so that's good! I don't mind the money I make...but the hours are no fun at all. It will be nice to be home with my family at nights again and see my daughter...who is always sleeping when I leave for work, and sleeping when I get home.

Favorite Television Show

Tonight my favorite television show is on. American Idol...anyone else a watcher? I like when it's on on Tuesday nights, but it's especially good on Wednesday nights because this is the elimination night. I don't like to see anyone go, as they are all great singers, but it's fun to see if your predictions are right...and see who is that much closer to becoming the next American Idol! All three had ok nights last night...none of which seemed outstanding to me. I think David Cook has the best chance of staying in the competition, while Syesha and David A. are on the fence...we'll just have to see what happens.

Symark Software

Symark Software is the leader when it comes to providing UNIX and Linux security administration solutions. Were you aware of that? I wasn't really until not that long ago. I read an announcement today made by them, that their powerbroker and PowerPassword-User Management Edition access control solution will support the new HP Integrity servers. This doesn't mean much to those who don't understand technology, but to me it makes perfect sense and I think it's great!! Don't you?! They're ensuring that organizations safeguard information and comply with federal regulations. If you're like me and enjoy learning about this type of thing, then check out their site to learn more today!

Walmart Run

It seems like there is always something going to get at Walmart. Jen and I get groceries about every two weeks...but we find ourselves running back and forth to Walmart during that time several times for something. We both grew up in a smaller town than we live now...neither of which had a Walmart. It's hard to remember what we did when there wasn't one around. I mean, where did we go when we needed something last minute. All I know is I'm thankful we actually have one nearby.

American Idol

The past couple of weeks I have missed American Idol because of work. This is a show that Jen and I both enjoy watching together...so I'm hoping that we'll get to watch it together tonight. There are four contestants left...all of whom are really good. I'm excited because tonight I'm off at a descent time and will get to watch it. I don't know if I'll be home tomorrow night or not yet...depending on the weather...but either way...I'm glad I at least get to see them sing tonight.

Iamshaman.com

Many modern-day spiritual explorers lean towards the word entheogen or ethnobotanical...referring to the plants that have healing properties supposedly. One such property being Kanna. The oldest known entheogen is Amanita Muscaria as well as Ayahuasca. Others are Hawaiian baby woodrose, morning glory, and the blue lotus. Ever heard of any of these?!? I came across a site offering things like this, www.iamshaman.com. If you'd like to check it out, feel free. Just know that even though people think so...they do not offer legal highs, and they only sell to adults! You'll find that their site not only offers the products, but also articles and further information on this topic.

Time Flies!

Jenna and I were talking about this recently, and it's so true!! So many people always tell you that time will go by quickly once you have kids and to enjoy ever moment. Before we had Kaelyn, we did not think much of it. Now, however, having a child of our own...we know exactly what they're talking about! Kaelyn turned 6 months old on May 1st. Although that is still very young, the time has just flown by. We can now relate to the comment on "time flying by" and have a whole new appreciation for what they mean. In the past 6 months Kaelyn has changed and grown so much!! It's been an absolute must to have the camera by our sides at all times just so we don't miss all of the changes she's going through. We are definitely taking the advice to "enjoy each and every moment" because it truly does go by within the blink of an eye!

Dennis Rodman...arrested

Whenever I get the chance, I like to watch ESPN. I am a sports fan, so this channel is probably one of my favorites. Recently I heard a news story that wasn't so great on this channel though. Dennis Rodman was arrested! I hadn't heard about this until today. Supposedly his girlfriend had drank too much and they got into an argument he grabbed her or something and left bruises on her arm. I guess if he really did do this, then it's good he was arrested for a domestic dispute. It's too bad that things like this go on so often.

Monaco

Monex Company is America's leader in the investment of precious metals. They have been around for over 30 years and continue to satisfy their customers every step of the way. Monaco Rare Coin, a rare coin dealer, is a part of the Monex family of companies, and is known for their variety of resources for investors and collectors when it comes to rare coins. I always thought it would be fun to collect and invest rare coins. How about you? If so, you should look into Monaco as well! They have experienced and knowledgeable professionals who will help you with anything you need. Check them out today and see what you think. You won't be sorry you did!

What to eat?!

I really need to decide what I'm going to have for supper since American Idol is on in the next couple of hours. I have quite a bit that I need to get done around the house, so something quick would be ideal. I'm not sure if I should have leftovers, or just throw in a pizza or something. Deciding on what to have is always difficult...I just don't know?! I think I may ask Jen and see what she feels like. She's usually good at helping me decide.

News

I recently read a blog that discussed the happening of a stalking case turned in by Uma Thurman herself. I hadn't heard of it until I read the post...but basically there was a man stalking her and actually sending her a card with a very disturbing image on it. She was kind of freaked out, and turned him in. The trial is going on right now actually, and if this man is found guilty, he faces up to a year in prison. I hope he gets that full year...as he deserves it if he truly was stalking her in this manner. How bizarre and disturbing!

Midwest Auto Recycling

I enjoy surfing the web sometimes when I get the chance...and finding new and interesting websites. Today I was looking up some things for cars for work, and came across midwest auto recycling. They are a company and site that specializes in used engines and transmissions. Now, some companies that offered this type of thing I might be a little bit leery of, but not Midwest Auto Recycling. They offer the strongest warranty nation wide and all the miles are CARFAX verified...a huge plus! The engines are all started, inspected, tested and cleaned. All of the transmissions are test driven, inspected and cleaned as well. If you'd like to learn more about them like I did, head over to their site today.
