Wow

I can't believe it's actually our last week of work. In a way it's kind of sad, although the excitement of my new job and moving outweighs the sadness. It's just gonna be hard to leave a job that I have worked for so long and made some good friends. I really think that it's going to take some getting used to waking up earlier in the morning once I start my new job. There will definitely be many things that will be different, but I'm very excited about the change. My wife's last week of work is actually bittersweet. She's definitely excited to move and be able to get us all settled in our new home, but she's also going to miss all of her students. I'm sure that they will miss her too...she is a very good teacher!

Wonderful!

We're getting really excited about being able to help make some decisions with the house that we're renting. My wife especially! She is having so much fun picking out colors and carpet and stuff. It's so fun to be making these decisions. It really makes me feel like we're moving forward. When I was working in the mall things felt like they were put on hold. We were kind of stuck in Cedar Falls and didn't know exactly where to go from there. Now we're moving to Albert Lea, I have a job and we will have a home together. Things are just wonderful!

Very Excited

So I decided to take the job that my Grandpa had to offer us! I am really feeling very good about it. At first we weren't sure back in September, but now things are different and we feel that this is the right time in our lives to pursue this further. God has the perfect plan for us, and everything happens in His time. Jenna and I have just tried to be patient and prayed that He would show us what He wanted for us. We finally feel that this is the right time for us to take this job and take a step of faith! We're very excited about it!!

The job

This job thing has been the topic of conversation since I graduated which was last May. I never imagined that it would take this long to find the job that I'm supposed to have, but I know that everything works out the way it does for a reason. My wife and I really are considering the job offer from Minnesota and I'm just really excited about it. It's fun to think about having a steady job that I can support my wife and someday a family with! That way Jenna would not have to work either, which I would really love.

Back to work we go...

Well, the holiday's are pretty much over, and it went so quickly. I was looking so forward to getting to spend time with family over this holiday season, and then it just flies by. It was also nice to have some time off of work, and my wife absolutely loved having like 5 days off. She deserves it though...she works hard all week long teaching and planning. Now we're back to work and getting back into the groove of things. We're still kind of wondering what will happen with this job thing for me, so we'll just have to keep praying about it and see.

Sankey Christmas

My wife's brother and his wife don't get back much now that they live in Texas. So it has been really nice seeing them over this holiday season. They were able to get back on New years so that we could have Christmas on that side of the family. It was so much fun! We got to have Christmas and New Years all in one.
