Too Fast!

Boy, did this weekend go by quickly. It was really nice being able to be home with Jenna and Kaelyn...but sadly the time goes by way too quickly. Tomorrow I will head back to work and only get to see them in the evenings when I get home. I'm glad for that time as well...I just wish that the weekends didn't go by so quickly...as this is really when I get to spend time with them and enjoy their company. :)

Weekend Getaway

It sounds like next weekend we're going to head down to see Jen's little brother. It's his birthday, so we thought it would be fun to see him. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to go...I thought we might be too busy at work...but it's not looking like that will be the case. I'm really looking forward to another weekend getaway, where we can enjoy time spent with family. I think we'll probably eat out some, go to church, and probably do a little shopping.

Good Forecast

I'm looking forward to this next week, as the weather is supposed to be fairly pleasant. It's been quite cold and snowy out there recently, but to my surprise the forecast for this next week really isn't too bad. I believe the weatherman said that the temps are going to be up in the 40's most of the week....and we're mainly looking at rain, not snow! Hopefully over the next couple of weeks it warms up even more so it really starts to feel like Spring. I tell you....5 months of winter is WAY too long!

Away for the winter

My grandparents go to Florida every winter. They go for a couple of months and have fun golfing and just relaxing before the busy season at work begins. He got back this week and is ready to work. I hope that someday I'm able to take a vacation over the winter months. It's not fun being here in the bitter cold weather. Warm weather and golf would be so great.

New Nephew

I'm a proud uncle again! My sister had her third baby one week ago...how exciting! She had her second boy. His name is Seth...he was 7 lbs 9 oz. and 19 inches long. We've gotten a few pictures of him, and he looks like a cutie. Hopefully we'll be able to see him soon....and the other kids too for that matter. It's been a long time since we've been able to see them...but hopefully we'll get to take a trip out there sometime soon.

Fast Week

Well, this week has gone by quickly! It started out with me having the day off on Monday and Tuesday because Jen and I were down visiting her brother. Tuesday Jen and I both got the flu though, so I took off Wednesday as well. Today I'm feeling a bit better so I decided to go to work. I'm still running a slight fever, but I thought I better try and make it to work at least a couple days this week. I pray that Jen is beginning to feel better too...as it's difficult to take care of Kaelyn and be sick....no fun!

This Weekend

This weekend we had a good time visiting Jen's brother. He wasn't feeling the best, but he still enjoyed having company. We were able to eat out at some of our favorite restaurants and go shopping a little. Overall, it was just a nice, relaxing weekend. We need to have those more often. When we're home we always have work to do. I can't wait until we can go back and visit again...it will be a lot of fun!

I Love It

I just love blogging for money. One of my favorite companies to blog for is Blogitive. I like them because they give many opportunities during the week for people to make money. They put them out there and give everyone a chance to grab them. They only pay 5 dollars a piece, but for as many as they put out there that's fine with me! I think I probably make the most money with this company over any of the others. I especially like how they give you two days to do the posts. I really appreciate that being a working person.

Work Week

Wow...I can't believe it's already an end to another work week. Where do the weeks go?? I am not complaining though! I'm very excited for the weekend to be here. We're going to go visit Jen's brother and take kaelyn to visit Jen's old place of work. It should be a good weekend...I'm really looking forward to it! I have off Mon and Tues which will be nice too! I can't wait!!!

A Family Vehicle

We recently bought a new vehicle and are just loving it!! Jen's parents sold us their old escape when they bought a newer one...and boy do we like it. Not only does it sit up higher than our old car, but it's SO much easier to get Kaelyn in and out of it too. It definitely makes for a very nice family vehicle. Jen and I definitely see ourselves taking family vacations in it in years to come!

Babies and Baths

Tonight is Kaelyn's bath night. We give her a bath every other night when we can, and she absolutely loves it!! We can't wait until she can sit up and play in the water more...she'll have so much fun! When she was just a newborn, she would scream and scream. I think she was just cold. Now that she's bigger though, she doesn't mind it at all. In fact, she'll smile and coo the whole time!!

Promotion

My brother in law just told me tonight that he got a huge promotion within his job that he works at. The nice thing for him is that he absolutely loves what he is doing. I am really happy for him, he's gotten to a place that he's always dreamed of in less than a year after college. Not many people get there so quickly...he's truly a blessed individual. He's very deserving of it though...I'm so happy for him!

The Bragging Dad

Kaelyn is changing so much!! She's been going through some major changes over the past month or so that I just have to share as the bragging dad!;) She's been sitting up some on her own, she's rolling all over the place, and she's even teething. It's so fun to watch her grow and change. It happens so quickly though that we try and have the camera and camcorder on us at all times!! I hope she doesn't grow too quickly though, we just love the stage she's at.
