Good To Be Home
It feels so good to be home. We just got back about 6 pm and stopped and ate at the Texas Roadhouse before settling in for the night. It was a good trip, we saw a lot of things, but the weather wasn't the greatest. For the most part, it was in the lower to mid 50's, which was cold. It also rained a couple of days, and those were the days that we had planned on doing this outside. But all in all it was a good trip, but I am happy to be back home.

Happy Birthday Babe!
Today we just arrived in Myrtle Beach and have just came back from going out to eat for Jenna's birthday. We stayed in Nashville, TN last and left there about 7 am. It was only about 8 hours to get down here, we arrived at about 3 pm. The weather is nice, it's in the upper 60's and very windy. Hopefully we'll have this good of weather all week!

OFF for 10 days!
I just got off work and now I'll be off for the next 10 days. I am so excited for this vacation, it will be nice to get away from Cedar Falls and just get out and see the sites. We are leaving tomorrow and will get back on the 29th. We will leave at about 6 in the morning and drive as far as we can before we stop, this will make the second day a lot shorter, and we can have more energy when we get to Myrtle Beach.

What makes a good B-Day gift?
Jenna's birthday is on the 21st, and we'll be on vacation during it, so what would make a good gift that I can give her. It has to be something that I can hide in my suitcase easy, but something that will not easily be broken. This is a tough problem to have because it is something that I also have to give to her in front of her parents. Maybe I'll just stick to giving her a card, and then take her shopping for something when we get down there. That, I think, would be the safest.

It's On!
After looking through all the golf course that they have to offer down in Myrtle Beach, I finally just decided to call our resort to see what they had to say about the courses. They gave me some good information about prices and how it is cheaper if you book through your resort instead of booking on your own. So I think that we'll wait until we get down there to make the decision.

Which Course to Play
Today I thought that I would take a look into which courses we should play while on our trip. Man, are there a lot of courses to choose from. There are over 1,000 courses in the Myrtle Beach area, they range in difficulty however, which should make the decision a little easier. All I know that this will be an experience that I will not forget.

Practice Practice Practice
Over the next couple of weeks I am going to try and get as much golfing in as I can. I am a little nervous about having to golf with or in front of other golfers down in Myrtle Beach, so I figure the more I play the better I'll get before then. I have done quite a bit of golf this summer, which now I'm glad I have, so I feel some what confident that after a couple of more outings I'll be prepared.
